The IRCP was established for the purposes of evaluating , determining, and recommending athletes who are prosposed  for ISU Competitions (Jr. Grand Prix and Grand Prix events) and Championships (4 Continents, Jr. Worlds and Worlds).

Members of the IRCP review and critique the PRFSF athlete’s capability, competitiveness  and insures that all programs are in compliance with Code of Points standards and ISU/PRFSF minimum requirements.

The IRCP is an invaluable tool for athletes that are being considered to represent the PRFSF in Internationals competitions and championships. It affords the athlete and their coaches the opportunity to assess  how the athletes skating ability will fare against the ISU Code of Points System and also provides the opportunity to enhance, modify and
improve the athlete's overall competitive capability.

"My objective is to bring the newest information to the Puerto Rico Federation as well as information from my many years of experience in figure skating. As a skater I was an Olympic Bronze Medal winner in Ladies Singles, as well as World Bronze Medal winner. I won the Novice and Junior U.S. Ladies titles as well as U.S. Ladies Championship. As a professional coach I have trained Olympians as well as World competitors and a World Medal winner. I have coached many International medal winners, as well as many U.S. Champions and medal winners. My international experience hopefully will bring a great deal of value to this new Figure Skating Federation. I am delighted to have the opportunity to pass on this information to further enhance the growth of the Puerto Rican Skating Federation and its future athletes."
