The Importance of an
academic education in today's competitive World
Society has
viewed education as an important part of life for many
years "Education not only
gives you the skills and knowledge to be a contributing
citizen, but also, education gives you the worth and
self esteem so you see yourself as a valuable person;((Molstad).
Education
is a part of life that no one can ever take away from a
person; quote; (Molstad).
The PR figure Skating Federation
recognizes the importance of balancing Academics and the
Athletics, and the risk of placing more emphasis
on one more than the other. It is our goal to create
incentives for our young athletes to continue to
excel in the academics by launching our new and
exciting program "Athletic Academic Rewards
Program". Ms. Judy Segall is the coordinator for
this program and plans on implementing the 1st of
the year. for more information visit our website after
January.
